I was told a long time ago to “watch well my beginnings.” Despite a very demanding work and training schedule, I’ve never forgotten my roots in the NPC, and how inspiring it was to see professional competitors in the audience supporting us. So, when I’m not in the gym, I try to attend as many of the shows that I competed in as an amateur as possible. I also cherish down time working in my yard, making it a place that my two dogs -Oliver and Elliotte – are proud to call home.
I followed my older brother’s footsteps and walked on to my high school track team. After 4 individual NJ State Championship titles and a lucrative college career, my love for fitness was firmly planted.
My taste in music is all over the board. During any given workout, I’ll listen to Busta Rhymes, Linkin Park, Korn, Nicki Minaj, Foo Fighters, U2, Eminem and Lil Jon. And that’s just during my warm up!
