Born and raised in South Jersey, but was recruited to run track for Kent State University, Ohio, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the School of Journalism in 1994. Having been both a multiple high school track and field state champion and collegiate athlete, intense training was part of my everyday life for years.

Since then I had not competed in anything for nearly 20 years. However, with the introduction of Men’s Physique, transitioning my focus from team athletics to bodybuilding came as a natural new outlet for my competitive spirit and drive for success. In just a few months after stepping on stage for the first time at age 39, I won the Overall Title at the 2012 Masters’ Nationals to earn my Pro Card.

I also cherish down time working in my yard, making it a place that my two dogs -Oliver and Elliotte – are proud to call home.
